The new venture, MYPUMP Solutions, approached us to create an online presence for their brand. As an independent distributor of pumping systems, they offer a wide range of pumps for various applications. MYPUMP Solutions is a subsidiary of MYGROUP Management, a parent company specialising in comprehensive pumping and water solutions.
Our team developed a catalogue-style website from the ground up to enhance their digital presence and showcase their extensive catalogue of products.
At the time, MYPUMP Solutions had just entered the pump market. They had no online presence, meaning there was nowhere for leads to come in. While starting a new business is no easy task, MYPUMP’s founders bring decades of experience. They know how the industry works and what prospects will be looking for in a distributor.
MYPUMP Solution is an exclusive distributor of ALL-FLO pumps, a Wilden® brand that recently expanded from the US to the UK. As the sole distributor, MYPUMP needed a website that would highlight the diverse product ranges of ALL-FLO and Wilden. To do this, we created an easy-to-use website that would increase leads for this lucrative partnership.
Not only that but we were also tasked with creating their digital presence from scratch, so brand development was key from the start.
Brand identity development
MYPUMP Solutions needed a cohesive identity aligned with its parent company. We developed a flexible brand that ensures consistency across the group while allowing for easy adaptation as the company grows.
We first spoke with the founders to understand their market, competition and customers. This insight would determine how we could position them. Then, our designers provided a series of logos for them to consider. Once the final brand was signed off, we chose a colour palette and typography to accompany it.
WordPress website design & development
Before the design began, we laid the groundwork for an SEO-ready website with a well-structured sitemap. Out of 110 pages, there are 77 individual product pages. Due to this expansive product range, we created an intuitive navigation to ensure user flow.
MYPUMP Solution’s product catalogue was split into four brands and their product ranges. Within the product ranges, users can select specific pumps and easily download data sheets so that they have all the information they need before making an order. We built the website on WordPress, knowing that the client required a CMS that would allow them to upload products as they grew.
The backend development created a smooth and efficient website with an optimised information architecture designed to manage a large product catalogue.
We applied MYPUMP Solution’s branding cohesively across each page to create a sense of unity that would build brand recognition. The layout was sleek, clean and intuitive, relying on white space to give the web copy centre focus. We added call-to-action (CTA) buttons at the start and side of each page, along with a contact form to encourage leads.
MYPUMP Solution’s bespoke website truly stands out amongst the competition. The brand launch has been a great success, with positive feedback from MYPUMP’s clients as well as a jump in leads.
Since launch, we have continued our partnership with their wider company group. This year, expect to see new websites for MYGROUP Management and MYWATER Solutions.
