How a future-focused WordPress rebuild set Corecom Technology Academy up for sustainable growth

Corecom Technology Academy partnered with Trio Media to launch a website redesign optimised for SEO performance and sustainable growth. The result is a faster, more flexible WordPress site that accomplished improvements in search visibility, keyword coverage and AI-driven search features just weeks after launch.

Beyond giving CorecomTechnology Academy total content control, the platform creates distinct, intuitive pathways for its two core audiences – all built on a scalable architecture ready for future growth.

Let the design do the talking

The new website was designed to feel confident, human and credible, reflecting Corecom Technology Academy’s role in developing inclusive junior tech talent while still clearly communicating their commercial offer. Clean layouts, strong typography and modular sections mean the site feels modern without becoming overly complex.

Why Corecom Technology Academy chose Trio

Corecom Technology Academy were already growing as an organisation, as a sister brand of Corecom Consulting, but their existing Squarespace website was holding them back. It limited SEO performance, restricted technical optimisation, and made it difficult to clearly separate different audiences and services, leaving users confused.

SEO was a key driver from the outset. Corecom Technology Academy wanted to ensure their Recruit Train Deploy model and Academy programmes were clearly understood by both users and search engines. They trusted us to guide them through not just a rebuild, but a smarter, more strategic approach to content and visibility with SEO at the forefront.

Corecom google search results

Ahead of launch, Corecom Technology Academy asked us to develop a SEO strategy to support visibility in both traditional search and Google’s emerging AI Overview. Our work focused on building clear topic authority around their ‘Recruit Train Deploy’ model, underpinned by detailed keyword research, competitor and market gap analysis, and best practice content guidance for AI Overview, People Also Ask, featured snippets, and zero click results.

We also carried out technical and on page SEO checks, reviewed Google Search Console, implemented structured data, and provided local search recommendations to ensure the site launched with strong foundations for both search engines and AI tools.

Within the first month post launch, the new website began appearing in Google’s AI Overview for keywords that had not previously ranked. Newly created landing pages and supporting content secured visibility across AI Overview placements as well as traditional Page 1 rankings, demonstrating the impact of the SEO strategy we put in place.
