Ellie’s career journey reflects her blend of organisation and empathy. She worked in marketing during university, running ambassador campaigns for big brand names and even dabbled in coding by building custom Tumblr themes as a teen. This early mix of structure, problem-solving and creativity made digital a natural path.
At Trio, she’s helped shape the agency’s project processes, led countless successful web builds, and built a reputation for keeping things moving – with minimal stress. Looking ahead, Ellie is focused on growing her expertise in accessibility, ethical design, and smarter project systems.
I first dipped my toes into digital marketing at university, working as a Student Brand Ambassador for brands like Bumble and Lovehoney, where I executed digital and in-person events, from simple social media competitions to full-blown guerrilla marketing on campus with a juicy budget (yes, it was as fun as it sounds). After completing my Master’s in Advertising and Design, I joined Trio Media, where I’ve since managed and worked on countless digital projects, from full website builds to marketing campaigns.
Now, as Digital Project Manager, I help bring websites and campaigns to life. I work closely with our designers and developers to keep everything (and everyone) on track, blending organisation, creativity, and a calm head under pressure. My Tumblr coding days even come in handy from time to time.

“Project management for me is about being the bridge. I love helping clients and teams speak the same language, creating processes that bring clarity and confidence to every step.”
Digital Project Manager
Here’s what I’ve been reading, writing, and obsessing over lately!
Things I’ve been reading:
My favourite things we’ve done (that aren’t by me):
Projects I’m proud to have worked on:
Podcasts I’m loving:
Big fan of Help I Sexted My Boss with Jordan North and William Hanson – proper belly laughs in the car. I also adore Tom Rosenthal’s Strangers on a Bench, a very pure and wonderful podcast where Tom chats to everyday people; some episodes are heartbreaking, others joyful. I love listening to Miss Me with Miquita Oliver and Lily Allen – it’s like listening to two best mates on FaceTime.
Books I can’t stop recommending:
Trio are amazing to work with, Claire and the team are great. They recently did a new website build and full rebrand for us. Everything was planned out with an interactive timeline, and Ellie, our project manager, was super responsive. The website was live ahead of schedule and looks brilliant. We use Trio for everything digital marketing and would recommend!
